Working with Lakeside Collaborative on the store design of our museum store was a formative experience in my approach to retail design. They were innovative, pragmatic, delightful and creative.

The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) enlisted the retail consulting services of Lakeside Collaborative in 2013 to assist with the research, planning, merchandising development, and post-opening consultation for its newly expanded retail operations.

As part of the striking building program by Herzog de Meuron (HdM), PAMM sought to design, fixture and merchandise an expanded retail store in the new Museum building. To do so, Lakeside Collaborative consulted the Project Architects in the overall store design, interior layout and fixture requirements for the newly proposed PAMM retail store.

To celebrate the Museum’s mission, Lakeside helped curate a selection of distinctive products that inspire, inform, and celebrate beauty, art and craftsmanship in close alignment with the Museum’s exhibition themes and educational programming.

In application of the new museum identity developed by New York based branding firm 2x4, Lakeside oversaw production of a collection of branded merchandise and set out to establish PAMM as a premier shopping destination in the greater Miami area.
