Object Lessons: The New Museum Explores Why We Keep Things

On July 20th, The New Museum will reveal a four floor summer exhibit titled "The Keeper". With 4,000 objects representing more than two dozen collectors, The museum's curators and artistic director have raised the question of what it means to "keep," and what our relationships to objects say about our relationship to life.
